Putin announced the US interest in mining at the Zaporizhia NPP

Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that the United States is interested in organizing cryptocurrency mining at the Zaporizhia nuclear Power plant. This was reported on December 26 by the newspaper Kommersant, citing the words of the head of state at a meeting with business representatives.

As the President noted, Russia and the United States are discussing the possibility of joint management of the Zaporizhia NPP, excluding the participation of the Ukrainian side. At the same time, on the American initiative, the issue of electricity supplies from this station to the territory of Ukraine is being considered.
