Updated Geely Monjaro goes on sale in Russia

Sales of the Geely Monjaro crossover in the new Flagship SE (Special Edition) maximum configuration have begun in Russia, the company said in a statement received by Izvestia on December 25. In China, this crossover is an updated version of the Monjaro. The price of the model starts from 4.9 million rubles, excluding special programs.

The Geely Monjaro is equipped with a special green body color and 20-inch wheels with thin spokes. The power plant and transmission have not changed, but there is an additional driving mode for moving through the sand. Shock absorbers with adjustable stiffness are used in the suspension.

A new transmission mode selector appeared in the interior, and the sun visors received transparent inserts. The shape and upholstery of the front seats have been changed, the driver's seat is now adjustable in 12 directions and has six massage modes. The front passenger seat has a memory of settings, adjustment buttons from the back row. The seat back unfolds to a horizontal position. Passengers in the back row were able to adjust the backrest angle using the keys on the doors.

The head unit now supports integration with an iOS smartphone, and there is a new audio system with 12 speakers, two of which are located in the headrests of the front seats. As part of the adaptation to the Russian climate, the washer tank has been increased to 5 liters.

Earlier that day, it was reported that the Moskvich automobile plant would begin selling cars from the new M-line in early spring 2026. The company shared that the new Moskvich M70 crossover is planned to be equipped with an all-wheel drive system. However, at the start of sales, the model will have only front-wheel drive.
