The expert named the most emergency cars of 2025
Chief Analyst bip.ru Ksenia Panfilova spoke about the most emergency vehicles this year.
In an interview with Auto Mail on Wednesday, December 24, she noted that the Toyota Chaser, a car popular in the Far East and Siberia that was discontinued in the early 2000s, became the most emergency model for the year. The minimum share of accident—free drivers and the maximum share of high-accident drivers (5.65%) were registered among its owners.
The VAZ-2114, Mitsubishi Galant, KIA Spectra and Peugeot 206 were also among the top cars with the largest number of highly accident-prone drivers.
"Passenger car models with a high proportion of emergency drivers are usually "age-appropriate" and inexpensive. For example, the Toyota Chaser was produced from 1977 to 2001, the VAZ-2114 from 2001 to 2013. Such cars are popular with drivers with short experience, and among them is the highest proportion of emergency vehicles," explained Panfilova.
The Skoda Kodiaq was recognized as the most accident-free car of 2025: 52% of its owners drive without an accident, and the share of highly accident-free is only 0.45%. The top also includes the UAZ-3151, Renault Duster, Toyota Land Cruiser Prado and LADA Niva Travel.
The expert explained that such models either belong to new and expensive cars driven by experienced drivers, or to budget SUVs, which are more often used off public roads. At the same time, novice drivers often choose affordable used cars, primarily the VAZ—2114, as well as the VAZ-2113 and VAZ-2109.
In November, the Moscow State Traffic Inspectorate reported that the number of accidents on the roads of the capital in the first 10 months of 2025 decreased by 10% compared to the same period last year. The number of people killed in them decreased by 20.2%, and the number of injured — by 9.2%.
