On December 24, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin took part in a meeting with the government of the Russian Federation, during which he proposed to sum up the results of 2025 and touched upon the questions that Russian citizens asked during the "Direct Line" on December 19. The main statements of the head of state are in the material of Izvestia.

About the work of the Government of the Russian Federation

Putin noted that the government of the Russian Federation acts smoothly and professionally, implements a rich agenda aimed at tangible positive changes in the lives of citizens and the whole country.

"Despite all the challenges, Russia is moving forward and developing. Our key macroeconomic indicators are stable, the structure of the national economy is gradually changing in favor of high—value-added industries, inflation is decreasing, and unemployment is at a historically low level," the president said.

He also pointed out the importance of the government's ability to balance the budget, which guarantees the stability of the country's financial system, and the state of public funds allows for full defense and security spending.

About family support

Putin raised the issue of large families and reminded them that they lose the right to receive a single benefit if their total income exceeds the established criterion quite a bit. The Russian president said that it is necessary to find a flexible, correct solution to support large families, so that people do not lose anything by increasing their income, but that there is an increase in the family budget.

"Therefore, I ask my colleagues in the government, and in the State Duma, in the regions, to quickly finalize and make informed decisions in favor of Russian families," Vladimir Putin said.

About developers

Putin drew the attention of members of the Russian Government to the issue of developers, which was raised during the "Direct Line" on December 19.

"The current moratorium on fines for violations of deadlines expires on December 31, and we have agreed not to extend it further. At the same time, I would like to draw the attention of my colleagues to the need to work systematically with developers so that they fulfill their obligations to home buyers on schedule," the Russian leader said.
