Sales of the Foton View van have begun in Russia

The Russian premiere was held in Moscow, where prices and sales launch of the new Foton View van were announced. This was reported on December 24 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the scene. The distributor of the brand is the former Russian subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz, MB RUS.

The rear-wheel drive all-metal van is equipped with a two-liter diesel engine with a capacity of 159 horsepower, which is combined with a six-speed manual transmission or an eight-speed automatic. The machine is available with two height options for the cargo compartment, the load capacity of the vehicle, depending on the design, is 900-1285 kg.

The van's equipment includes heated driver's seat, steering wheel and windshield, keyless entry and air conditioning. The cost of the basic version of the car with a low roof starts at 3.23 million rubles. Prices for the modification with a high roof and a cargo compartment increased to 7 cubic meters will start from 3.48 million rubles.

The cargo and passenger version is expected to appear later — according to preliminary information, it will be converted from an all-metal van already in Russia.
