On the eve of the New Year, 12 renovated polyclinics were opened in Moscow.

On the eve of the New Year holidays, 12 renovated polyclinics have opened in different districts of Moscow, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said in the MACH messenger.

The work was carried out both in the main buildings of medical institutions and in branches.

Polyclinic No. 220 in Presnensky district, as well as branches of GP No. 45 and GP No. 219 in Levoberezhny and Kurkin underwent modernization. The work was also carried out in the department of the consultative and diagnostic center No. 6 in Lianozov.

After the renovation, a branch of the consultative and diagnostic polyclinic No. 121 in Yuzhny Butovo and medical facilities in the Chertanovo Severnoye, Novo-Peredelkino, Khoroshevo-Mnevniki, Fili-Davydkovo and Konkovo districts were also opened.

Specialists have updated the facades, changed the layout of the interior spaces, replaced utilities and increased electrical capacity. The interior was also finished. The buildings were equipped with the latest equipment. The surrounding area has been landscaped.

Sobyanin stressed that the upgraded clinics comply with the new Moscow standard. Doctors of the eight most sought—after specialties work in each building, and specialists in five narrow areas additionally work in the head buildings.
