The air defense forces of the Russian Defense Ministry destroyed an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) moving towards Moscow. This was announced on December 24 by Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

"The air defense forces of the Ministry of Defense repelled an attack by a drone flying to Moscow," he wrote on the MAX messenger.

Emergency services specialists are currently working at the crash site.
