The heating system in Moscow was adjusted due to the cold snap
Specialists of the Moscow municipal economy complex adjusted the heating system to take into account the weather conditions. This was announced on Tuesday, December 23, by the Deputy Mayor of the capital for Housing and Communal Services and landscaping, Peter Biryukov.
He explained that due to the sharp cold snap in the capital region, the temperature of the main coolant in the heating networks had been increased in advance. According to him, the modes of operation of the district heating supply are always selected depending on the temperature of the air outside.
Biryukov noted that tasks for changing system parameters are formed in advance — based on a short-term weather forecast. The heat supply is regulated by changing the temperature of the coolant and its volume, the Moscow City News Agency reports.
He also stressed that all adjustments are performed automatically under the control of the dispatching services of PJSC "MOEK" and are based on data from weather sensors and dispatching systems installed, including at heating points, writes "Moscow 24".
Also on December 23, Dmitry Bondar, an expert on housing and communal services, advised turning off the water before leaving for the New Year holidays. It is also important to leave your contacts to the neighbors and the management company, notes 360.ru .
