More than 60,000 residents of the Kherson region were left without electricity due to a targeted strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the energy infrastructure. This was announced on December 23 by the governor of the region, Vladimir Saldo.

"Over 60,000 people were left without electricity in Alyoshkinsky, Holopristan, Skadovsky, Chaplinsky, Kalanchaksky and Kakhovsky municipal districts," he wrote on the Telegram channel.
