The premiere of the family show "Cinderella: The Alchemy of Dreams" will take place in Moscow

On January 24, the premiere of the Cinderella: The Alchemy of Dreams show will take place on the stage of the Live Arena, a new version of a favorite fairy tale in which sports, theater and music meet.

In the show "Alchemy of Dreams", the creators discover a new meaning in the fairy tale. This is a story about inner strength, about how hard work, faith and perseverance turn the impossible into the possible. Alchemy is a transformation, and here it happens right in front of the audience: sport becomes art, and art becomes a way to talk about a dream. The main role is played by Yana Kudryavtseva, the Olympic silver medalist in Rio de Janeiro, multiple world and European champion in rhythmic gymnastics. Her Cinderella is not just a heroine of a fairy tale, but a person who knows how to pursue a dream, no matter what.

The Prince is played by Alexei Lyubimov, Honored Artist of Russia, leading soloist of the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Academic Musical Theater. His character goes through doubts and trials to learn to see true beauty. The ART FORCE CREW, led by Artem Glotov, a world champion and three—time European champion, will give a boost of energy. Their dancing is power, rhythm and inspiration, in which sport and art merge into a single whole. Aerialists, jugglers and dancers will also perform on stage, creating a dynamic, lively world where each number becomes part of the overall magic.

Director of photography Alexandra Krasilnikova transforms a familiar fairy tale into a space of dreams and fantasies. Her production combines theatricality and modern technology, creating the feeling that a miracle is happening here and now.

The music and lyrics were written by the award—winning composer Vasily Tkachuk, the author of popular hits. The creators call their project an educational performance — it introduces viewers to sports, culture, spiritual traditions and creativity. But the main thing is that the audience does not stay away here. The artists involve both children and adults in the action, turning everyone into a participant in this magical story.
