They tried to import 38 cattle into Crimea without documents. The animals were traveling from the Volgograd region, the press service of the Azov-Black Sea Interregional Rosselkhoznadzor Administration reported on Monday, December 22.

A car carrying artiodactyls was stopped for inspection on 528 km of the M-18 highway. The inspectors found that the cattle did not have chips and veterinary documents, which is a violation.

According to IA SevastopolMedia, the owner of the cargo was ordered to place the animals at a quarantine site in the Kherson region. Cattle have been subjected to antiepizootic measures there.

Earlier in December, a similar incident occurred in Primorsky Krai. A large shipment of duck feathers from Vietnam was not allowed into the region due to violations of veterinary regulations.
