Almost 2 billion rubles will be allocated for medicines for beneficiaries in Transbaikalia

Almost 2 billion rubles will be allocated to provide preferential medicines to residents of Transbaikalia in 2026. The money will come from the regional budget, said Oksana Nemakina, head of the regional Ministry of Health, on the air of GTRK Chita.

According to the minister, almost 1.5 billion rubles were allocated for similar purposes in 2025. She called this amount of funding unprecedented in recent years, writes ChitaMedia news agency.

The funds will be allocated based on the number of residents of the region eligible for preferential drug provision and registered at the beginning of 2024.

As Nemakina noted, the number of beneficiaries may change throughout the year, but this should not affect the stable supply of medicines.
