The Victory Museum hosted a New Year's quest called "Victory Tree", which was attended by children of special Military Operation (SVO) soldiers. The visitors and organizers of the celebration on December 21 shared their impressions.

As part of the quest, the children had to follow a path related to the history of the Great Patriotic War (WWII), solve secret codes and answer questions about history. At the end, the children were presented with gifts.

The main task of the participants was to rescue the Snow Maiden, who was trapped in an old military film. To do this, the children had to go back in time, study the events of the siege of Leningrad and other significant moments of the war.

"It helps to immerse yourself in the heroic past that the New Year's quest takes place in dioramas dedicated to the main battles of the Great Patriotic War. This is besieged Leningrad, the frozen Neva, guns, camouflage nets, a complete feeling that I got into 1941," said Elena Khmura, a correspondent for Izvestia.

The interactive program included laser tag, and the quest route covered the key moments of the war — from the harsh December 1941 to the victorious May 1945. The tasks were diverse, suitable for both teenagers and younger participants. Dioramas dedicated to the battles of the Second World War were actively used in the quest, which created an atmosphere of complete immersion in history.

Children whose fathers are fighting in the SVR zone have received invitations to a holiday in Moscow, which has become not only an exciting event for them, but also an opportunity to learn more about their country's heroic past.

The Victory Tree is held annually for children of special operation participants, veterans and employees who died in the line of duty. This year, young guests from 38 regions of Russia joined the celebration. It is specified that you can become a participant in the New Year's tale "Victory Trees" until January 9th.

On December 20, Mikhail Artamonov, Head of the Foundation's Public Projects Department, announced the launch of the New Year's project "Victory Tree" at the Victory Museum. Its first participants were children from families of the wards of the Defenders of the Fatherland State Foundation. According to him, the number of project participants is increasing every year. This year, the event will be attended by over 1,000 children from 38 regions of the state.
