Russians were told about the rules for paying for work on weekends and holidays

Russians who will work on weekends and holidays during the New Year holidays — from December 31, 2025 to January 11, 2026 — will receive double pay. This was announced on Sunday, December 21, by Evgeny Masharov, a member of the commission of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation for the public examination of draft laws and other regulations.

"Wages on weekends or non-working holidays are made in at least double the amount. The specific amount of payments varies depending on the chosen payment system," he said in an interview with TASS.
