Reuters has learned the opinion of US intelligence about Russia's plans for Ukraine

American intelligence suspects the Russian side of allegedly seizing "all of Ukraine" and intending to make the European part of the former USSR Russia. This was reported on December 20 by the Reuters news agency, citing sources.

"American intelligence reports continue to warn, <...> [of the alleged intention] to seize all of Ukraine and return parts of Europe that belonged to the former USSR," the publication says.

It is specified that the last intelligence report was prepared in September of this year.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on December 15 that the actions of the European Union (EU) countries are the main threat in the world at the moment. Russian President Vladimir Putin, in turn, announced on December 2 that Russia was not going to go to war with Europe. According to him, the Russian Federation is currently operating in Ukraine "surgically," but in the event of an attack by European countries on Russia, everything will be different.
