The commander of the 17th Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), who took part in the invasion of the Kursk region, was eliminated in the Sumy region. This was reported on October 20 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.
"The commander of a company of the 17th separate heavy mechanized brigade has been eliminated in the Sumy region," RIA Novosti quoted the security forces as saying.
It is specified that the Ukrainian Armed Forces militant was initially a volunteer in the national battalion "Dnepr", and then participated in the invasion of the Kursk region. He was eliminated in the Tetkinsko-Glushkovsky area of the special military operation (SVO).
