New Year's project "Victory Tree" started at the Victory Museum
The Victory Museum has launched the New Year's project "Victory Tree", the first participants were children from the families of the wards of the state foundation "Defenders of the Fatherland". This was announced on December 20 by Mikhail Artamonov, head of the Foundation's Public Projects Department.
"The Foundation was established in 2023, and in the same year we actively participated in the implementation of the Victory Tree project. This is not the first experience for us, this is the third year we have been participating," he said.
Artamonov added that the number of participants in the project is increasing every year, and this year more than 1,000 children from 38 regions of the country will attend the event. According to him, children from eight regions are present at the opening of the Victory Tree.
"We always focus on the feedback that reaches us <...> from our audience, and it is extremely positive. From year to year, the "Christmas Tree" is in demand and popular," he shared.
The head of the foundation's Public projects Department noted that applications for participation have already been received by the organization several months before the New Year holidays.
"For them (children. This is not only participation in the quest, for them it is an opportunity to travel, see Moscow, learn about its beauty and sights. Therefore, this is a big event that we are preparing for, and we will always hold and support it, it is very interesting for our children's audience," Artamonov added.
Earlier, on December 18, the Victory Museum hosted the award ceremony for the winners of the international drawing contest "Draw a Victory Tree." According to the organizers of the event, more than 57 thousand participants took part in the project. The contestants were thanked for their hard work. The winners received commemorative prizes and statuettes.
