The Interior Ministry named the preliminary cause of the bus accident near Omsk.

The cause of the accident in the Omsk region, where six people were killed and five injured, could be the departure of a heavy truck into the oncoming lane. This was reported on December 20 in the press service of the main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the region.

"It was previously established that the Volvo driver, moving in the direction of Omsk, entered the oncoming traffic lane in the area of 548 km, where he collided with a bus (Omsk - Krutinka route)," the department's Telegram channel says.
