On December 20, Maria Zakharova, an official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, joked about the queue on the website of the US Department of Justice to view the published materials of the financier Jeffrey Epstein case.

Zakharova recalled her childhood, which was spent "in the queues of the 80s" to buy groceries, shoes and toothpaste.

"I know everything about queues. That's how it seemed to me until December 20, 2025, when the US Department of Justice invited me to queue up to look at the Epstein files," she said in a message on her Telegram channel.
