The 78 TV channel has prepared a large-scale New Year's program for the residents of the city. From December 31 to January 11, viewers will enjoy a real telethon: from the festive "Morning Show" and broadcasts of their favorite TV programs to a karaoke party on New Year's Eve and "Slow TV" during the holidays. The program is designed so that each viewer finds his ideal way to spend a long January weekend by turning on "78".

The Morning Show will open the festive marathon. On December 31, at 6 a.m., the project team will enter the studio in full to discuss the main changes of 2026 in the economy, finance, housing and communal services and the social sphere. New Year's editions of "Open Studio", "Have a Nice Day", and "The Other Petersburg" will continue to air. The popular Health program will prepare two topics at once: on New Year's Eve, it will tell you how to celebrate the holidays at the New Year's table, and after that, what to do if you did not listen to the advice from the previous issue.

The main events of the broadcast:

  • New Year's karaoke "Retro FM". Legendary artists — Igor Nikolaev, Alexander Ivanov, Kai Metov, Oleg Gazmanov, Tatiana Bulanova, the IVANUSHKI INTERNATIONAL and Russian Size groups — are waiting for the audience to perform hits together. The lyrics will be on the screen.
  • "Slow TV" for midnighters. A special place on the holiday weekend is given to nighttime broadcasting. The creative team of the TV channel has prepared a series of special projects. On January 1, Petersburgers will be able to embark on a New Year's trip on the Ruskeala Express, enjoying the interiors of a unique retro train and the landscapes of Karelia. On other dates of the night broadcast, Okhta Park will be shown from the height of the Ferris wheel, the process of creating a New Year's carpet, a visit to reindeer and husky dogs, as well as St. Petersburg from the height of the Lakhta Center.
  • The traditional screening of "Bandit Petersburg". Two seasons of your favorite TV series can be watched every day from January 1 to January 8 at 13:10 with a repeat at 21:30.
  • Christmas service from the Moscow Cathedral of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, live broadcast.
  • Holiday releases of popular programs "Open Studio", "Good Day", "Another Petersburg". Favorite presenters Nika Strizhak, Felix Nevelev and Ilya Mikhailov-Sobolevsky did everything to recharge the audience with a New Year's mood.
