The leaders of the European Union (EU) at the summit on December 19 decided to grant Ukraine a loan in the amount of €90 billion at zero percent. This was announced by German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.

"The financial package for Ukraine says: an interest—free loan of €90 billion, as I requested," he wrote on the social network X.
