The Ministry of Finance proposed to increase insurance compensation for certain types of deposits

The Russian Ministry of Finance has submitted for discussion a bill on increasing insurance compensation for long-term ruble deposits and escrow accounts. This was reported on December 18 on the ministry's website.

"Increasing the insurance limit from 10 million to 30 million rubles will significantly expand the coverage of residential real estate transactions, especially in large cities," said Alexey Yakovlev, director of the Finance Ministry's Financial Policy department.
