Experts named the best stores for Christmas shopping

The top 3 most profitable stores for Christmas shopping included Pyaterochka, Magnit and Scooter. This is evidenced by the results of the Romir study, which analyzed the prices of online storefronts of retailers in 10 major Russian cities.

A New Year's basket in Pyaterochka will cost 6.7 thousand rubles on average in the country, 7.1 thousand rubles in Magnit, and 9.7 thousand rubles in Scooter.

The set of products for the festive table includes 23 items and is provided for a family of 3-4 people. The list includes 1 kg of beef and chicken, half a kilo of smoked sausage, fish delicacies, and a 200-gram jar of red caviar. The list also includes butter, cheese, canned vegetables and bread. The set includes potatoes, tomatoes, cucumbers, oranges, apples, and lemons. For dessert — sweets and cake. Of the drinks in the basket, mineral and carbonated water and juice are counted.

The lowest prices for basic products for the New Year's table in delivery were recorded in Pyaterochka stores in seven of the 10 cities studied — in St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Chelyabinsk, Ufa and Krasnodar.

The Romir study was conducted in December of this year and covered prices in online convenience stores and fast delivery services in 10 million-plus cities in Russia.
