Next year, the VGV brand will launch a new Bolden S7 pickup truck and a restyled VGV U70 crossover on the Russian market. This was reported to Rossiyskaya Gazeta on December 18 by the brand's press service.

The company also noted its focus on increasing sales, expanding the dealer network and developing the service.

VGV is part of the Sinotruk company. Crossovers are manufactured at the Belarusian Unison plant, and sales in Russia started in the fall of 2024. The line includes two crossovers, the U70 and U75 Plus, which are variations of the same model.

The Bolden S7 pickup truck was introduced in China last summer. Earlier it was indicated that the model in the Russian specification will be available with a diesel engine with a capacity of 177 hp and a torque of 410 Nm, an eight-speed automatic, all-wheel drive with differential lock and downshift.

According to Autostat-info, in 11 months the VGV brand sold 237 cars in Russia, which is 80% more than in the same period of 2024.

On December 8, the analytical agency Autostat reported that in November of this year, 20 models entered the Russian car market, which had not previously appeared in the registration statistics in the Russian Federation. More than half of the list of new products in the passenger car segment are Chinese. These are hybrid SUVs BYD Leopard 7, M-Hero M817 and Zeekr 9X, hybrid crossovers GAC Trumpchi S9 and Geely Galaxy M9, hybrid sedan Lynk & Co 10, Lynk electric crossover & Co Z20, seven-seat four-wheel drive crossover Nordcross 001 and minivan JAC Refine RF8.
