REN TV will show a new documentary investigation "How much are show-offs?"

A tinted SUV, a special signal, a thug number and a guard with a "crust" at the entrance – this is exactly what the image of a "successful person" looks like today. For the first time, REN TV will show how a shadow market of show-offs has formed in Russia, where anyone can buy the attributes of success and power. A bag for 28 million rubles, a watch for 16 million, a car for 85. The prestigious license plate for cars is another 25 million. But who spends such money and why, and most importantly, where does this money really come from?

The authors of the film "How much are show-offs?" They reveal the underside of the world of glamour and ostentatious wealth, where status becomes a commodity and luxury becomes an instrument of deception. How do billionaires turn out to be scammers, luxury – a fake, and a beautiful life – a temporary decoration for social networks? Who really owns expensive cars at elite restaurants and business centers, and why do the threads of this glamorous world lead not to a business empire, but to markets and industrial zones on the outskirts of Moscow? How do information gypsies, scammers and criminal "resolvers" build their careers on show-offs? And why do they pay for luxury with their lives?

Branded bags from the fashion catwalk for only 20 thousand rubles: where is the former clothing market, where many residents of Patriots, including celebrities, buy their reputation and the appearance of luxury?

Dust in the eyes: How much does it cost to rent almost real bodyguards and a motorcade of jeeps? REN TV journalists also found out how the security market works for the country's wealthiest clients, by what signs can a disguised bodyguard be distinguished from a real one, and how security companies deceive their famous clients?
