The trailer for the musical "First Date" has been released

The Broadway Moscow Theater Company has unveiled the first official trailer for the updated version of the most romantic musical in its repertoire, "The First Date." The video premiered on the company's official digital platforms and is already gaining thousands of views. The trailer does not just tell about the musical, but allows the audience to feel the spirit and energy of the performance, as well as appreciate the highest quality of the production.

The musical "First Date" is a theatrical alternative for fans of the cult films "Real Love" and "Exchange Vacation". This is a Russian adaptation of the Broadway hit that has conquered New York, Tokyo, London and Buenos Aires. The plot focuses on love in a big city. The paths of the heroes would hardly have crossed if it hadn't been for a blind date arranged by their loved ones. Awkward pauses, funny coincidences, unexpected confessions and persistent voices in my head — friends, relatives and even "exes" with unsolicited advice: all the most comical and most touching, and most importantly, very recognizable situations of the first date will come to life in front of the audience performed by the stars of Moscow musicals.

The authors of the witty story are playwright Austin Winsberg (TV series "Gossip Girl", "Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist") and hit creators Alan Zachary and Michael Weiner (TV series "Once upon a Time in a Fairy Tale", the musical "From 13 to 30", Disney projects). Famous professionals of the Russian musical theater worked on the original Russian production: director Anna Shevchuk, choreographer Irina Kashuba, musical director Evgeny Zagot, set designer and lighting designer Alexander Sivaev, videographer Asya Mukhina.
