Twitch and Pinterest fined 6 million rubles each
The Tagansky District Magistrate's Court found the Twitch and Pinterest services guilty of violating Russian law and imposed fines of 6 million rubles each. This was reported on December 8 in the Telegram channel of the court.
"By the decision of the justice of the peace of the judicial district Nº422 of the Tagansky district of Moscow, Twitch Interactive, Inc. was found guilty of committing an administrative offense under art. 19.7.10-4 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation," the message says, a similar verdict was passed by Pinterest.
The court clarified that both services did not comply with the requirements of the authority responsible for control and supervision in the field of mass communications.
At the end of August 2025, the Moscow court brought Twitch and Pinterest to administrative responsibility and fined the companies over 61 million rubles and 10 million rubles, respectively. It was reported that the services also did not comply with the requirements of the authorities.
