Moscow football club FC Lokomotiv has announced the transfer of Argentine midfielder Lucas Vera. The relevant information was posted on the team's official website on December 17.

It is noted that the contract with the athlete was concluded until the end of the 2027/28 season. Vera joined the camp of the Railwaymen as a free agent. Before that, in Russia, he played for Orenburg and Khimki near Moscow.

"I am very happy to be at Lokomotiv. I've wanted to come here for a long time, and fortunately, it finally came true. I ended up where I dreamed of. It's great that we managed to arrive before the start of training camp. We will be able to complete full training with the team by the beginning of the second part of the season," the footballer said.

The 28-year-old Argentine's last club was Al-Wahda. On September 23, the UAE team terminated the contract with the Argentine. The player has not played a single match for Al-Wahda, adds Sport-Express.
