In St. Petersburg, it was proposed to allow fireworks to be launched on December 31 from 22:00, and not from 23:00. This was announced on December 17 by deputy of the city legislative Assembly Denis Chetyolbok.

"The New Year will start earlier: we propose to officially give the fireworks the green light from 22 o'clock," he wrote on the Telegram channel.
