In Yakutia, support measures for payment for housing and communal services will be maintained in 2026. On average, residents of the region pay only 25% of the economically reasonable tariff. The rest is compensated by the regional budget.

According to Nikolai Bochkov, head of the State Committee on Pricing Policy, quoted by YakutiaMedia news agency, the cost of thermal energy in the Verkhoyansky district is much higher than in Yakutsk. In the capital of the republic, people pay about 72% of the tariff, and in Verkhoyansk — only 8. Thus, for residents of the city, tariffs are slightly higher, by about 15-30%. And in rural areas it is lower due to the low solvency of the population.

In addition, any resident of Yakutia can apply for targeted subsidies if housing and communal services costs exceed 15% of family income. Large families have the right to a 30% discount, regardless of income level. Support is provided for pensioners, the disabled, veterans, and members of the SVO.

Earlier it was reported that in 2026, Russians expect new rules in the field of housing and communal services. The basic accrual methodology remains the same, but citizens should take into account in advance the two stages of indexing and the updated requirements for issuing receipts.
