The Russian government has extended preferential leasing of equipment for businesses in new regions

The Russian government has extended preferential leasing of machinery and equipment for small and medium-sized businesses in new regions until 2026. The relevant document was published on December 17 on the official website of the Government of the Russian Federation.

"The program of preferential leasing of machinery and equipment for representatives of small and medium—sized businesses in the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions has been extended until the end of 2026," the message says.

It is noted that it is possible to take advantage of the leasing privilege in the agricultural sector, the food industry, the transport and construction industries. At the same time, the rate for Russian equipment will be 6%, and for foreign equipment — 8%.

On September 3, the Russian government established new preferential tariffs for coal transportation in the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics (DPR and LPR), as well as in the Zaporizhia and Kherson regions. It is specified that this decision was made to provide support to new regions of Russia, as well as to help preserve their economic potential.
