Sobyanin appreciated the simplification of the mechanism of social payments to Muscovites

The unified center for the provision of social support measures, Social Treasury, helps arrange payments and benefits for more than 5 million Muscovites. A full cycle of application processing is carried out within one institution, said the Mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

The country's first single center for social support measures has been operating in Moscow for almost two years, the capital's head noted in a channel in the MAX. Since July 2025, the City Center for Housing Subsidies has been part of the institution.

Most often this year, Muscovites asked about measures to support families with children. Thus, more than 400 thousand children from large families and children with special needs received compensation for school uniforms, and over 80 thousand received payment at the birth of a child.

Thanks to the work of the Social Treasury, more than 100 types of payments, compensations and benefits are available to Muscovites around the clock in one click. This made it possible to reduce the processing time of requests from 8 to 6 business days, and the transfer of funds from 5 to 2 business days, Sobyanin stressed.

One of the priorities was the introduction of AI in the process of assigning support measures to pay for housing and communal services. "Already today, this makes it possible to reduce the processing time of documents from two days to one hour. Gradually, this experience will be extended to other social services," wrote the mayor of Moscow.
