The All-Russian eco-village was solemnly presented in Moscow by the head of Rosprirodnadzor Svetlana Radionova. The Christmas tree is decorated with handicrafts from children from all over Russia. The campaign is held annually as part of the International Children's and Youth Award "Ecology is everyone's business." Its participants create unique toys from recycled materials. This year, about 10,000 New Year's souvenirs were sent to the eco-village from all regions of the country.

The ceremony took place at the Moscow Zoo, where Russia's main eco-park is traditionally installed. The winners of the Rosprirodnadzor prize "Ecology is everyone's business" from Moscow and the Moscow Region came to see their works. Svetlana Radionova, head of the Service, and Svetlana Akulova, director of the Moscow Zoo, cut the red ribbon around the green beauty and wished everyone a Happy New Year.

"Dear guys, every year you surprise us with your imagination and concern for the protection of nature! This year, about 10,000 New Year's toys made from recycled materials are not just creative, it's a real lesson in responsibility for all generations. You show that caring for the environment can be joyful and beautiful. It is especially touching to read your letters – stories about how whole families come together to turn unnecessary things into works of art. Thanks to the Moscow Zoo for giving us the opportunity to showcase this beauty to the whole country year after year. Come to the zoo to see the All–Russian eco-park and be inspired by new ecological exploits!" said Radionova.

The All–Russian eco-village is decorated with handicrafts made from recycled plastic: remnants of building materials, disposable tableware, plastic bottles, old buttons, egg trays, plastic bags, used markers, pieces of cloth and hardboard - what is usually sent to landfill and harms nature. There are nutcrackers on fluffy branches made of a variety of materials – remnants of foil insulation, plastic packaging trimmed with pieces of velvet, foam. 9-year-old Artyom Avtushko from the village of Talagi in the Arkhangelsk region created New Year's bells from pieces of bottles and decorated them with the symbol of the New Year. "I believe that it is necessary to take care of the environment and maximize the use of recyclables. Thank you to the organizers of the eco–village for the opportunity to create beauty with care for nature!" the boy wrote in his letter.

"Dear guests! The Moscow Zoo is very happy to host the All-Russian Eco-park. This action is close to us in spirit, because we also teach people every day to respect nature and its inhabitants. It is a real pleasure to look at these amazing toys! Every job is a small victory over indifference. We thank Rosprirodnadzor for this wonderful tradition and all the participants for their creative approach to solving environmental problems. Come with the whole family to admire the wonders of children's fantasy!" said Svetlana Akulova, a member of the jury of the Ecology is Everyone's Business International Award, director of the Moscow Zoo.

According to Radionova, toys reflecting the cultural heritage of the regions have gained special popularity this year. According to tradition, numerous polar bears decorate the eco–village - the symbol of the Ecology is Everyone's Business award. The author of the white bear, 16-year-old Anna Lukyanikhina from St. Petersburg, noted: "This toy is a symbol of caring for our planet and a call to action for future generations."

Lots of birds and snowmen, snowflakes and Christmas houses, lanterns and garlands, bells and fairy-tale characters decorate the most eco-friendly Christmas tree in the country. Among the most unusual toys are a silver moon, a peacock fan made of disposable spoons, a fabulous fish made of river shells, and a festive tablecloth made from an old record.
