EU leaders have proposed sending "multinational forces" to Ukraine

Following the talks in Berlin, the leaders of the European Union (EU) countries proposed sending multinational forces to Ukraine. The relevant documents attest to this on December 15.

"The European—led multinational army for Ukraine, formed at the expense of contributions from states willing to participate in this as part of the coalition of the willing and with the support of the United States. <...> It will contribute to the restoration of the armed forces of Ukraine," RIA Novosti quoted the statement as saying.
