The Black Sea Fleet denied information about the destruction of a Russian submarine.

Information about the alleged "destruction" of one of the submarines of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in Novorossiysk Bay by an unmanned underwater vehicle of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) is invalid — not a single Russian vessel was damaged. This was announced on December 15 by the head of the press service of the Black Sea Fleet, Captain first rank Alexei Rulev.

"The enemy's attempt to carry out sabotage using an unmanned underwater vehicle did not achieve its goals. Not a single ship or submarine of the Black Sea Fleet stationed in the bay of the Novorossiysk naval Base, as well as their crews, were damaged as a result of the sabotage," he is quoted as saying in the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The Helmsman's statement notes that currently all ships and crews are serving normally.
