In the Chernivtsi region of Ukraine, a man attempted to illegally cross the border with Romania using a motorcycle. This was reported on December 15 in the Telegram channel of the Ukrainian publication "Politics of the Country" with reference to border guards.

"In the evening, he drove up to the border and tried to break through the Porubnoye checkpoint at speed," the report says.

According to the agency, the man was stopped by a border guard on duty, who managed to knock him off his motorcycle. It is specified that the attacker was handed over to law enforcement agencies.
