A criminal case was opened after an attack on a teacher at a St. Petersburg school.

St. Petersburg investigators have opened a criminal case after a schoolboy attacked a teacher with a knife. This was reported on December 15 in the Telegram channel of the Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) for the city.

It is noted that the criminal case was initiated under Part 3 of Article 30, Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Attempted murder").

"According to the investigation, on December 15, a student of a secondary school located on Belorusskaya Street stabbed a teacher at least three times. The victim is receiving medical assistance," the ministry said in a statement.
