In the Perm Region, investigators are conducting a check on the disappearance of tourists. This was reported on December 14 in the Telegram channel of the Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) for the region.

"The investigative department for the city of Gornozavodsk of the SU IC of Russia for the Perm Territory has organized a procedural check on the fact of the unknown disappearance of a group of tourists," the report says.

According to investigators, on Saturday, December 13, a group of 15 people on snowmobiles left the village of Srednyaya Usva to Mount Oslyanka. It is noted that two people returned to the village later that day. The location of the other participants of the hike could not be determined.

Police officers, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and volunteers were involved in the rescue operation, the agency said.

On December 14, the Lisa Alert search and rescue team received a request to search for an unregistered tourist group in the Perm Region and formed visiting teams. It was noted that the road can be dangerous for volunteers at night and in bad weather conditions. The search is only possible using snowmobiles, as due to the large amount of snow, hiking groups will not be able to complete their tasks.
