The Tver authorities have introduced a state of emergency in the territory, where damage was recorded on Friday night after the crash of an unmanned vehicle. This was announced on December 12 in a decree published on the website of the city administration.

The document states that the emergency mode is introduced for the prompt elimination of consequences and coordination of the work of emergency services.

The boundaries of the incident area cover three apartment buildings and one social facility.

Earlier, on December 11, it was reported that in Tver, an unmanned aerial vehicle hit a multi-storey apartment building, injuring seven people, including a minor. They received timely medical assistance, and some residents were evacuated from the building.

The Regional Prosecutor's Office took control of the situation and organized the coordination of all relevant services for rapid response and support of citizens. The circumstances of the incident are being checked, as well as the consequences for the housing stock are being assessed.

According to eyewitnesses, one of the first to run to the scene was a local resident named Aren, who, along with neighbors, tried to extinguish the apartment that caught fire before the arrival of fire crews.
