The State Duma responded with the phrase about the Nuremberg trials to the Ukrainian Armed Forces' attack on the house in Tver

Andrei Kolesnik, a member of the State Duma's defense committee, said that a drone strike on an apartment building in Tver and similar actions by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are regarded as manifestations of desperation and are of a terrorist nature.

"They understand that the case is coming to an end, they are trying to mess up as much as possible, but in the end we must not forget the Nuremberg trials and how it ended," Kolesnik said in an interview with Lenta.Ru on Friday, December 12th.

According to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to compensate for failures on the battlefield by attacking civilians. The parliamentarian noted that such attacks would not go unanswered. According to him, the Russian Armed Forces will respond in their usual way — by delivering effective strikes against critical infrastructure facilities. He stressed that there would be no retaliatory strikes against the civilian population, but the Ukrainian military and other law enforcement agencies should be prepared for a harsh response.

A UAV strike on an apartment building in Tver was reported earlier that day. Seven people were injured, including a minor. The regional Prosecutor's Office took the incident under control.
