Useful tools are most often downloaded from RuStore

In the RuStore app store, the "useful tools" category has overtaken financial applications in terms of downloads for the first time in three years. This happened against the background of an increase in the store's monthly audience to 65.5 million, which is half of all Runet users. The number of exclusive RuStore users has also increased, with a 23% increase since the beginning of the year.

"RuStore today is a bridge between the idea of an app and millions of users. We have created a platform for developers with all the conditions for earning money: their income has quadrupled over the year. We are actively expanding opportunities for Russian and foreign companies. For example, by November 2025, Chinese developers had earned 3.5 times more than a year earlier," says Dmitry Pankrushev, head of RuStore.

The most popular download categories are useful tools, which account for 21% of all downloads, finance — 18%, shopping — 10%, entertainment — 8%, transport — 7%. The leaders among the applications are SberBank Online, OZON, Avito, Yandex Browser, Gosuslugi and MAX.

Among the game genres, simulators lead with a share of 13%, action — 11%, puzzles — 10%, casual games — 8%, RPG — 7% and shooters — 6%. The top games by downloads were led by: Tanks Blitz with three million downloads, "The World of Housebreakers", Black Russia. In addition, the list includes Grand Mobile and Last Day on Earth: Survival.

In 2025, RuStore actively developed partnerships with game studios from the Asia-Pacific region — China, Japan, Vietnam and South Korea. The activity of Chinese developers is especially noticeable. The number of publishers from China has increased 2.5 times in a year, and the number of applications and games from them has increased by 40%.

At the same time, the number of RuStore installations exceeded 150 million – these are smartphones and tablets, as well as cars, projectors, e-books and specialized gadgets.
