Moscow airports accept and send flights by agreement.
Against the background of restrictions, all airports of the Moscow air hub accept and send flights in coordination with the relevant authorities. The relevant information was shared by Artem Korenyako, Adviser to the head of the Federal Air Transport Agency, in his Telegram channel.
"Due to the introduction of temporary restrictions on the use of airspace in a number of districts of the Moscow region, Sheremetyevo, Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Zhukovsky airports accept and send flights in coordination with the relevant authorities," wrote a representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency.
Korenyako also said that temporary restrictions on take-off and landing of aircraft had been introduced at Izhevsk Airport. A representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency explained that "measures have been taken to ensure flight safety."
Earlier that day, the airports of Vladikavkaz, Magas, Makhachkala and Sheremetyevo introduced and lifted restrictions on the reception and release of civilian aircraft. During their operation, one aircraft flying to Vladikavkaz and four aircraft heading to Makhachkala "left" for alternate airfields.
