The Russian-Chinese Economic Forum Amurexpo will be held in Blagoveshchensk and Heihe.

Preparations for the main business event of the Amur region were discussed at a meeting of the Organizing Committee, which was held by the Governor of the Amur region Vasily Orlov.

With the support of the Roscongress Foundation, the Forum will be held as a visiting venue for the Eastern Economic Forum, and field events of the Harbin International Trade and Economic Fair are planned on the territory of Heihe.

Yuri Trutnev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation and Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District, emphasized the importance of Amurexpo for the development of partnership relations with China and other friendly countries.: "The Russian-Chinese Economic Forum Amurexpo is a visiting venue for the Eastern Economic Forum. The possibilities of further fruitful cooperation with friendly countries are being discussed here, and the topics of the Forum are proposed for the WEF agenda. We are open to further cooperation not only in the economy, but also invite China to participate in scientific and technological projects and develop humanitarian ties between our countries."

Pavel Puzanov, Deputy Chairman of the regional government, noted that next year's Forum will focus on new opportunities in the region. Within the framework of AMUREXPO, it is planned to discuss the work of international trade unions and visa-free entry to China and the Russian Federation for tourists, as well as the development of the federal Competence Center for Russian-Chinese business cooperation, which is being created in Blagoveshchensk. The B2B format will be strengthened, which, among other things, involves the organization of target venues for meetings of Russian and Chinese businesses.

It is proposed to include more than 10 blocks in the business program of the 2026 Forum. Together with the Roscongress Foundation, it is planned to hold a plenary and a number of thematic sessions, a meeting of the governor and members of the regional government with representatives of foreign delegations, business and the public. A roadshow for new logistics facilities will be held within the framework of the Forum, cultural and sports programs are planned. The Organizing Committee of the Forum is actively working to expand their scale, new formats and event venues.

"The Amurexpo Forum is the main business event of the year, which we traditionally hold with our Chinese partners. The assignment of the status of an outbound site of the Eastern Economic Forum and the holding of outbound events of the Harbin International Trade and Economic Fair in Heihe underlines its increasing importance. Our common goal is to make the most of the opportunities offered by the Forum. As part of Amurexpo, we will present the potential of our logistics projects, which will be launched next year. First of all, this is a cross-border cable car, as well as the full—scale launch of the Kani-Kurgan automobile checkpoint and the renovated airport," said Vasily Orlov.

The Forum is a visiting platform of the Eastern Economic Forum and is supported by the Ministry of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, and other federal authorities and development institutions.
