Sportloto supports the All-Russian bobsleigh and skeleton competitions

The Sportloto brand, whose lotteries are included in the portfolio of Stoloto, the largest distributor of the All-Russian state lottery, has become the general partner of the Russian Bobsleigh Federation's All-Russian Bobsleigh and Skeleton Competitions. The competitions were held in early December in Sochi on the toboggan-bobsleigh track "Sledge" in the village of Krasnaya Polyana. In total, more than 50 athletes took part in them: in bobsleigh, participants had to be no older than 27 years old, in skeleton, no older than 24 years old.

"Support for sports and a healthy lifestyle is at the core of the values of Sportloto. And the implementation of this program takes place within its own funds allocated in excess of mandatory contributions to the state budget. Sponsorship of these competitions is the company's contribution to the Olympic movement. It is important for us to be part of the team, together with our partners, paving the way for future victories," said Oksana Tubman, Director of Sponsorship and Corporate Social Responsibility at S8 Capital, which includes Stoloto.

Anatoly Pegov, President of the Russian Bobsleigh Federation, thanked Sportloto for the strategic support of bobsleigh and skeleton competitions, which has been underway for several years, and noted that "such projects make competitions brighter and help attract new supporters to the sport and its community."

Earlier this year, Sportloto became an official partner of the Russian Bobsleigh and Skeleton Championships (held in March) and supported the Russian Bobsleigh and Skeleton Cup (in November).

Since 2014, all lotteries in Russia have been state—owned, organized by the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Sports. They are conducted under the supervision of the Federal Tax Service of Russia. State lotteries distributed by Stoloto are a significant source of replenishment of the budgets of the Russian Federation in order to finance socially significant facilities and events.
