Houses in the old part of Simferopol will be connected to a new sewer system

Sewerage construction is being completed in the old part of Simferopol. The houses will begin to be connected to the system in January 2026, and the process should be completed by May.

According to the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Crimea, Yuri Gotsanyuk, quoted by IA SevastopolMedia, after the connection work is completed, the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Krymavtodor" will begin to restore asphalt pavement in areas where work was underway on laying networks.

The city administration must ensure that the roads are maintained in good condition.

In the coming days, the city authorities will determine with the residents the readiness for technical connection. It is also necessary to put the road on Krasnoarmeyskaya Street in order. Networks were previously laid there.

Earlier it was reported that the Crimean authorities will allocate 38 million rubles for the construction of a storm drainage system in the village of Lesnovka, Saksky district. These works will help to eliminate the problem of flooding, which has existed for many years. All measures will be implemented within the framework of the emergency prevention program.
