Sobyanin reported 31 Ukrainian drones shot down overnight

Russian air defense forces shot down 31 Ukrainian drones heading towards Moscow. This was announced on December 11 in the Telegram channel by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

The mayor clarified that specialists are already working at the crash sites. The attack has been going on for more than three hours and all emergency services are involved.

All the capital's airports are closed due to the threat of UAV attacks. More than 50 flights were delayed at Sheremetyevo, Vnukovo and Domodedovo.

It will become a field laboratory for testing the latest weapons systems and protect the region's infrastructure from drone attacks.

Earlier in the day, the mayor announced the destruction of 21 drones that were heading towards Moscow.
