- Zakharova announced the participation of more than 60 countries in the Kremlin Cadet Ball
Representatives of more than 60 countries have arrived in Moscow to take part in the 10th International Kremlin Charity Cadet Ball. This was announced to journalists on December 10 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.
"More than 1.6 thousand cadets from all regions of Russia come to the capital to spend a few hours in an atmosphere of kindness and love — love for their country and their culture," she said.
After that, the diplomat explained that the participation of foreign guests allows them to see what a classic ball is in Russian traditions, and stressed that Russia remains open and respectful towards the cultures of other nations.
Zakharova noted that the jubilee ball has become a platform that unites cadet schools of various profiles and young people from many countries.
Earlier, on November 20, it was reported that the All-Russian Santa Claus from Veliky Ustyug called the action "Wish Tree" a wonderful New Year's miracle. He thanked all the wonderful people who can really help those kids who, unfortunately, are not doing well in this life.
