The Victory Museum in Moscow has organized a free New Year's program "Victory Tree" for children of participants in a special military operation (SVO). The event will be held on December 20th. This was announced on December 10 by the museum's press service.
Children from 6 to 14 years old are invited to participate. They will enjoy an entertainment program in historical scenery, laser tag and animators in costumes. According to the museum, "during the hour-and-a-half game, the young participants of the program will be transported to the events of our country's heroic past."
The first guests of the program on December 20 will be children from families of wards of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation. They will travel back in time to save the Snow Maiden. In the story, the children will travel from the harsh December 1941 to the victorious May 1945, restoring archival film frame by frame, overcoming obstacles and enemy traps. In the final, they will help light the "Victory Tree", and each participant will receive a themed New Year's gift from the museum.
The organizers prepared over 120 kg of paraphernalia and about 6 tons of decorations for the interactive program. In total, over the course of three weeks, the organizers will hold more than 450 exciting adventures.
The festive program will last until January 9, 2026. Thousands of children from 75 regions of Russia will be able to take part in the event.
Before that, on November 16, the Victory Museum hosted the traditional festive event "Congratulate Santa Claus." On the eve of the Birthday of the main winter holiday, the guests recorded video greetings for him. This year, more than 200 young museum visitors took part in the action. Together with the Snow Maiden, they conveyed wishes of health, happiness, and long life to Santa Claus.
