Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that Hungary would rebel against the EU migration pact, according to which the member states of the union should distribute migrants among themselves according to quotas. He wrote about this on December 10 on his Facebook page (banned in Russia, belongs to Meta, which is recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation).

"Brussels has decided that starting in July, Hungary will have to accept migrants from other EU countries or pay for their upkeep. Annually to the extent prescribed by the European Commission. We believe that there is only one patriotic answer to this: an uprising. That's what we're going to do. Migrants will not set foot on our land under our government. Neither from the south nor from the west," Orban wrote.

In the publication, he also rebuked the Hungarian commissioners in Brussels, who "are ready to stab Hungarians in the back and agree with the European Commission to accommodate migrants."

On the eve of December 9, US President Donald Trump said that the migration and energy policies of European countries pose a threat of destruction to Europe. According to Trump, the situation in the EU countries is deteriorating due to immigration decisions.
