The US-Russian dialogue forms the long-term agenda of cooperation between the countries

Following the meeting of the US-Russian Dialogue held in Dubai (UAE), a joint statement was adopted. The participants stressed the need to maintain an interested, political-free discussion between the business circles of Russia and the United States and agreed to hold meetings of the US-Russian Dialogue on an annual basis. The organizers are the Roscongress Foundation and the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia. The event was supported by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI), the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP), and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

"Today, Russia and the United States continue to build professional contacts between the business communities, focusing on specific economic results and pragmatic interests. In the context of global challenges, such a dialogue becomes particularly important, allowing businesses to maintain opportunities for the development and implementation of promising solutions," said Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation.

The key purpose of the meeting of the US-Russian dialogue was to discuss the prospects for Russian-American cooperation, establish mutual trust and find ways to restore business contacts and ties between the companies of the two countries. The Russian delegation of the event was headed by Sergey Katyrin, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, and Robert Agee, President and Chief Executive Officer of the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia, led the American delegation.

The participants of the Dialogue expressed the hope that the event would contribute to the formation of a more favorable environment for Russian and American businesses, reduce risks, and increase mutual trust.

The meeting participants discussed the prospects for the development of bilateral business cooperation in a wide range of industries.

It was decided to hold subsequent meetings of the US-Russian Dialogue within the framework of major international events, including those organized by the Roscongress Foundation.
